Some of these are minimum criteria. A total of 100 or 110 points must be achieved. In BREEAM certification, there are <a href=\"https:\/\/dev.hoinka.com\/en\/building-certification\/breeam\/breeam-certification\/\">different systems internationally for new buildings and existing buildings<\/a>. The following information relates to the certification system for new buildings, but is similar for the other systems.    <\/p>\n<h3>What awards are there in the BREEAM certification?<\/h3>\n<p>There are 5 different levels of excellence in BREEAM certification, which are awarded depending on the degree of fulfillment:<\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"130\">Passport (min. 30 %)<\/td>\n<td width=\"130\">\u2605<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"130\">Good (at least 45 %)<\/td>\n<td width=\"130\">\u2605\u2605<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"130\">Very Good (at least 55 %)<\/td>\n<td width=\"130\">\u2605\u2605\u2605<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"130\">Excellent (at least 70 %)<\/td>\n<td width=\"130\">\u2605\u2605\u2605\u2605<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"130\">Outstanding (at least 85 %)<\/td>\n<td width=\"130\">\u2605\u2605\u2605\u2605\u2605<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tuvsud.com\/de-de\/branchen\/real-estate\/immobilien\/energie-und-nachhaltigkeit-bei-immobilien\/breeam\">T\u00dcV S\u00dcD DIFNI<\/a> is responsible for awarding the certificates in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.<\/p>\n<h3>How does the evaluation work?<\/h3>\n<p>A so-called &#8220;balanced scorecard&#8221; approach is used in BREEAM certification for assessment and classification. This means that missing points in one area can be compensated for by achieving a higher number of points in another area. However, depending on the award level to be achieved, there are minimum requirements that must be met in core areas.  <\/p>\n<h3>Do all evaluation categories have the same importance?<\/h3>\n<p>Each of the 10 categories into which the BREEAM criteria are divided has a different significance for the assessment.
