27.06.2019 Since the launch of the “Building Material Scout” service platform for healthy building products a year ago, the number of products in the database has grown to over 31,000. <\/span>
\n<\/p>\n

The platform developed by HOINKA GmbH and Drees & Sommer<\/span> provides industry players with essential information for sustainable construction projects. The ZIA Zentraler Immobilien Ausschuss (German Property Federation) has now also recognized its innovative strength and included Building Material Scout as a best practice innovation in this year’s ZIA Innovation Report. The jury’s assessment criteria included, for example, the degree of novelty of the innovation concept, the benefits for customers, the environment and society as well as the economic viability of the idea. The ZIA report and the Best Practice Innovations 2019 were presented at the Real Estate Industry Day on June 27 in Berlin. <\/p>\n

Users of the platform include well-known manufacturers such as the Lindner Group, GEZE GmbH, neuform-T\u00fcrenwerk Hans Glock GmbH and Durach GmbH. Building Material Scout provides them with a unique assessment service that evaluates and classifies building products according to the requirements for healthy and sustainable construction, such as the DGNB, LEED or BREEAM standard. This allows them to maintain an overview of the certification jungle and obtain transparent evidence for green building projects. <\/p>\n
