BNB Sustainability Coordinator – Assessment System for Sustainable Building

What does a BNB sustainability coordinator do?

• Consulting: Advice on sustainability aspects, implementation options in the construction project and the early integration of BNB requirements into project planning.
• Support with documentation: Preparing, checking and compiling the necessary evidence.
• Quality assurance: Regular monitoring of the implementation of sustainability goals and BNB requirements in the various planning phases.

Once the project documentation with all the necessary evidence has been submitted by the BNB sustainability coordinator to the relevant certification body, compliance with the BNB criteria is checked and assessment points are awarded. Depending on the overall degree of fulfillment, the building is awarded BNB Gold (100 % – 80 % degree of fulfillment), BNB Silver (80 % – 65 % degree of fulfillment) or BNB Bronze (65 % – 50 % degree of fulfillment).
