DGNB "Climate Positive" award
In future, the Building Energy Act (GEG) will combine the Energy Saving Ordinance (EnEV) and the Renewable Energies Heat Act (EEWärmeG).
One goal is to achieve a climate-neutral building stock in Germany by 2050.
With various energy efficiency measures and the use of renewable energies, it is already possible today to operate a building in a climate-neutral – and therefore CO2-neutral – manner.
Buildings that demonstrably plan, implement and achieve the requirements for climate neutrality in building operation can receive the DGNB “Climate Positive” award.
The award is initially valid for one year and can be extended through ongoing monitoring of the balance sheet data.
We will be happy to advise you if you have any questions about the “Climate Positive” award or DGNB certification in general.
